Treats and Tricks

Hallelujah, the exterior of my house has been cleaned. There was so much rain and we have so many trees that there was an unattractive glaze of mildew on the house. The nicest Martin went over the house and garage with Clorox, inch by inch. and I put up a wreath to celebrate.

For the goblins, I am putting out a mad dog, giant rat and a spider will top a bush. We have been "Boo-ed" and have hung ghosts in the window to show this. Now off to "Boo" others, for I have purchased my candy and am armed!

  1. I know I'd trick-or-treat at your house. Just seeing the giant rat would be a treat.

  3. Maybe you should have waited until AFTER Halloween to clean your house. Then it would be more spooky! Now it is lovely. Great little Halloween 'shrine' on your doorstep.

  6. Sorry, Linda, I was wrong! I commented about the prior one, but not this one. Actually, I did go yesterday, and I did comment. I even remember what I said, but for some reason, it didn't post. What I said what that your house looks beautiful, that I love the arrangement on the front porch, and that you go all out for Halloween. Then I wrote a lot about MY feelings about Halloween, but thought they were too negative, so cut them out and wrote them in an email. I guess when I did the cutting, I accidentally cut the entire thing out.

  7. That spider is fantastic! That I have not seen anywhere. We're all set for the spooks and the kids all have their costumes. Zac wore his to his piano recital today - all of the kids dressed in costumes. Your house looks brand spanking clean! How nice! Now you all have had that rain-turning-to-snow today, according to the weather reports. I do hope that it warms up for the spooks to enjoy your front steps & porch!
